Pretty happy with how deadlift went today after the first sets felt like ass and I had to strap up like a bitch on my second set. My goal is to only strap up for my last set and not use straps for anything else (Jesse would interject something about hook grip here blah blah blah, but I hate the hook grip). I think they, along with wrist wraps were contributing to my extreme wrist pain. I bumped it the other night and just about flipped out of bed it hurt so bad...it's not like a "zing" pain and done...it throbbed like a mother fucker for at least 5 minutes.
