First workout in the new gym. I just started my first semester of Physical Therapy school. Needless to say, the coursework is intense. The gym, however, is not. I could go on and on about how it's not a good place to train, but the bottom line is, that's just an excuse...Who cares if they don't have/allow chalk? I'll get a better grip. Who cares if all the little med students stare at me? It's motivation to get them to stare more. Who cares if none of the dumbells are the same, or even have printed weights? I'll just use the first one I pick up. Who cares if they only have one squat rack? At least there is one, all you need is a bar and the floor anyway. Who cares if the vast amount of equipment in there is cardio? It will keep the wee lads away from the big weights.
Silver lining? Not in this lifetime...next week I'll train at Jobe's.
